Billing and Insurance
Prior to your procedure a staff member from the Center will contact you by phone to go over your demographics as well as discuss your insurance coverage and any estimated copays, coinsurances, or deductibles that you may be responsible for. The Ambulatory Surgery Center of Stockton requires that you pay any amount not covered by your insurance company-such as copays, coinsurances, and deductibles, on the day of your procedure unless you make prior arrangements with the Center. For your convenience we accept, cash, personal checks, money orders, and credit card payments (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express).
In addition to our bill for the facility fee, you will receive separate bills for the following services:
- Your physician or surgeon
- Anesthesia, if you received general anesthesia or it was necessary for an anesthesiologist to be available for your procedure.
- Laboratory test, if they were required by your physician, or radiology imaging before or during your surgery.
- Pathology, if tissues or specimens were removed during surgery.
- Third Party Vendors.
Any questions regarding these services should be directed to their respective billing offices.
Our business office staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding insurance coverage or billing procedures. Please contact our billing office at (209) 944-9100.
